Description

Organic Airén wine, made with cold maceration on its skins for 3 days and slow fermentation at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks to best preserve its varietal character. It comes from a unique site in La Hoya de Torres, from old, ungrafted vines located at an altitude of over 800 meters. Production is limited to 1,487 bottles and aged for more than 5 months in used 225L French oak barrels.

It has a bright golden color. The nose is intense and complex, with a wide range of apple aromas, from fresh fruit to baked apple and cider, accompanied by delicate touches of fine wood, bay leaf, ripe citrus, and peach, with subtle hints of honey and light smoky nuances. On the palate, it offers great volume and perfectly integrated acidity; it is enveloping, flavorful, and slightly liqueur-like, with a creamy texture and a very long, persistent, and deeply aromatic finish.
