Description

Sourced from old, ungrafted vines located at an altitude of over 800 meters, this wine is aged for eleven months in used French oak barrels. It is the winery’s most profound and serious wine, with great structure, pronounced minerality, and remarkable aging potential. Very limited production: only 1,151 bottles.

It displays a deep cherry-red color with a bright garnet rim. On the nose, it unfolds a precise and elegant intensity, with ripe blackberries and cherries at the forefront, accompanied by fine spices, Mediterranean herbs, and subtle hints of fine woodworking. On the palate, it is juicy and flavorful, with excellent balance, polished tannins, and perfectly integrated light toasty notes. The good acidity provides vibrancy and balsamic freshness, culminating in a long, elegant, persistent finish of remarkable complexity.
