A single-varietal Monastrell made from two separate traditional vinifications in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures. The blend comprises 30% ungrafted old vines and 70% young vines, all located at over 800 meters above sea level in La Hoya de Torres, achieving a perfect balance between depth and freshness. It enjoys over 9 months of aging in used 500- and 225-liter French oak barrels, always seeking to integrate and enhance the fruit without overpowering it.
It presents a deep cherry-red color with a bright, bluish rim. On the nose, it offers medium-high intensity, a balsamic profile, and is very expressive, with notes of wild herbs, fresh red fruit such as cherry, and a background of ripe black fruit, accompanied by subtle animal nuances, hints of meat, and a marked minerality. On the palate it shows good acidity that provides freshness, firm and well integrated tannins, an earthy and tasty character, great juiciness and a long and persistent finish that invites you to repeat.
